As Blizzard gets ready to launch what could be the biggest selling PC game of 2008, retailer Best Buy has announced details of its New York City midnight launch event on Nov. 12 for the fantasy MMO expansion World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King which will include appearances by Blizzard executives.

Best Buy announced this morning that folks who come to the Times Square Best Buy location that day will get to see Blizzard co-founders Mike Morhaime (CEO) and Frank Pearce (executive vice president of product development) along with other Blizzard team members. Trivia and prizes will also be given out. The event starts up at 8 pm on Nov. 12 and of course Wrath of the Lich King will go on sale at that location at midnight.
