Turbine is getting ready to launch Mines of Moria, their first commercial expansion pack for their fantasy MMO Lord of the Rings Online. However, they are giving former subscribers to the game one last chance to play the current version before the expansion launches.

From now until Nov. 10 former subscribers in good standing (i.e. you paid all your bills) can download and re-sign onto their old accounts for free. Also, everyone that plays the game from now until Nov. 17 will get some extra experience from mob kills in the game. Mines of Moria itself will launch later this month and this week Turbine released six new screenshots from the expansion showing off two of its new areas (Khazadum and the Central Levels)
