For months we have seen listings for a product called Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor on online retail sites. Publisher THQ has kept silent about these listings...until today when it finally announced that this product would indeed be a new stand alone expansion pack to the acclaimed WWII RTS title from developer Relic.

This is actually the second such stand alone expansion for the 2006 released game and (the first, Opposing Fronts, was released in 2007). The press release states that Tales of Valor will have the usual additions for such an expansion. Expect three new campaigns, new units, maps and new multiplayer modes. There's also something they are calling a direct-fire feature "that allows even more tactical control during the heat of battle." We aren't quite sure what that means at this stage. We do know that Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor is due in stores this spring.
