Custom install issue found in PC MotoGP 08
Oh brother. The flood of release day issues with PC games continues. We've had issues with games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky, NBA 2K9 and Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 pop up in the past several weeks. The latest victim...er, game to feel the pinch is the PC port of Capcom's motorcycle racing sim MotoGP 08.
According to the official Capcom blog site, there's an install issue with the game that causes problems if you change the default directory it first gives you. Basically, Capcom is saying, "Don't change the install directory," They plan to issue a patch to the game in the next few days to fix the issue so if you absolutely have to change the default install, wait until the patch is released. That is all.
