Fans of Battlegoat Studios' cult hit strategy game Supreme Ruler 2020 have reason to be happy today. The game's publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that an expansion pack for the game, Global Crisis, is in the works. The new big feature in the expansion is a "whole new sandbox style campaign that paints a new and far more intricate portrayal of the world of 2020 based on many of the ominous events from recent real-world headlines." Sound ominous.Other new features include 20 new stand alone scenarios, new multiplayer scenarios, graphical and UI improvements and much more. The expansion will be released late in 2008 via download from the Gamersgate service but no price has been announced.
