Call of Duty: World at War will have NAZI ZOMBIES!
Perhaps trying to steal a little of Left 4 Dead's thunder, this week's episode of Spike TV's Gametrailers TV show revealed a previously secret gameplay mode in Call of Duty: World at War. In two words: NAZI ZOMBIES!. Once the single player campaign is completed in Activision's upcoming WWII shooter, the game unlocks a special four-player co-op mode where the players have to fight off an endless stream of (wait for it) NAZI ZOMBIES!
This mode actually has more to it than just trying to stay alive. There's an economy system as well. Apparently you can earn money to unlock more weapons and rebuild barricades to slow down the zombie horde. The team at Treyarch have gotten up to 23 waves of zombies in the mode before they got overwhelmed so if your team gets over that mark, consider yourselves primo zombie hunters. I'm not really looking forward to World at War, but I must admit, this is cool.
The way they implemented the barricade system looks intuitive and simple to use.Posted at 5:25AM on Oct 26th 2008 by Einhanderkiller
