Fallout 4 in three years?

Bethesda Softworks is a company that knows how to take its time. It's internal development team works on one game and one game only. This time its Fallout 3, the post-apocalyptic RPG that's due in stores next week for the PC and other platforms.

However, is the next Fallout game only a few years away? In a new Reuters story that talks about game sequels, Bethesda Softworks' producer Todd Howard supposedly said that "three years is a good time frame between games." That could be a big hint that Fallout 4 could be released in 2011. It certainly would be much closer than the 10 year gap between Fallout 2 (developed and publisher by the franchises former owner Interplay) and Fallout 3.
