Nexon America's free-to-play multiplayer shooter Combat Arms has technically been out of beta for only a few weeks but the game has already registered one million players since it launched in an open beta form in July. The game will also be getting new content this month.

A new map, Waverider, will be introduced in the game and is the largest map yet for Combat Arms. The map, which is set in a European hilltop down, will also come with "new weapons, two supply cases, special event gear and a new male mercenary". In addition a new gameplay mode called Bounty will be added. The mode wil feature one player as the "Bounty" that others players go after in the match. The Bounty player receives more in-game money the longer he stays alive.
