Saints Row 2 PC (likely) not shipping this week

It looks very likely that PC owners will have to wait a few more weeks before they can install Saints Row 2 on their hard drive. The open world crime action game from developer Volition and publisher THQ was originally set for release this week alongside the console version and indeed Gamestop's web site still shows an Oct. 14 launch date for the game.

However that's not the case for other retail web sites like Amazon.com, Bestbuy.com, and Walmart.com, all of whom now have either a Nov. 10 or Nov. 11 ship date. Big Download has contacted THQ to get confirmation of this new date for the PC version for for now it things look like things are leaning towards a delay in Saints Row 2's PC debut.

F'in LAME. I don't mind games getting delayed but it would be nice to know a little in advance. Before I read this story I was expecting to waltz into my local Gamestop TOMORROW and pick up my pre-order. On top of that, in a few week I'm going to have Dead Space, Fallout 3, Motorstorm 2, Fable 2, FarCry 2, Command and Conquer 3, and LittleBigPlanet to play. Saints Row 2 will move WAY down on my 'to play' list.

wow, this sucks. I was going to do the same as the poster above me, and go snag my copy from gamestop on my way to work. I really hate how PC's are being ignored, and developers can not even say it is piracy anymore, because the Xbox 360 has just as many leaked copys of games and a equally large pirate following.

THIS IS SO STUPID! dude i have been so psyched about this game coming out and i pre-ordered the PC version because it said that it was coming out on the 14th. WHY would gamestop not give any warning. this is so stupid. So even though i was planing on playing some saints row 2 today now i get to wait a month!!
