In August
Electronic Arts announced that they would publish the latest game from Japan-based
Grasshopper Manufacture, the team best know for their ultra-violent action games
Killer 7 and
No More Heroes. This week EA sent over word via a press release that the developer will use
Epic Games'
Unreal Engine 3 as the graphical basis for their still-unrevealed game.
Of course Epic Games has their own publishing deal with EA for an upcoming game that's being developed by their satellite company People Can Fly so Epic and EA are really getting closer together. However, a rumor that EA might actually buy Epic Games
was quickly termed "rubbish" by Epic VP Mark Rein.
