No downloadable content for PC Mercenaries 2?
PC owners will apparently have to do without the console extras, as EA's PR spokesperson tells us, "... as of right now the Mercenaries 2: World in Flames Total Payback update is only planned for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3." In addition the console versions will get a major downloadable console update in November but again it's not looking as if PC owners will be getting a chance to download that content either.

This is the major reason PC gaming is "dying" F*cking EA!!!! They move onto the console market, and abandon the PC users. This is exactly what happened to the Battlefield series......Bad company is in developement and all the while they neglected BF 2142. I mean really........There was only one major patch in a year and a half. And Intel paid for it!
Call of Duty 4 came out and the hundreds of servers that were once there for BF 2142 just disappeared.
Microsoft started this all with the Xbox 360, all the games got prioritized to the Xbox 360 and forget games for windows.
Add in the whole Dx10 on vista only fiasco with Halo 2 not being supported by XP (when it could have been) and you now know why PC gaming is labeled a dying breed.Posted at 11:26AM on Oct 3rd 2008 by Unklebeavis
EA is pissing me off. I understand why everbody pirates their games. I mean come on u pay $50 for a broken game. That has securerom on it so u can only install it 3 times if u pay for it. IF u pirate it its unlimited installs. And now they wont even fix the damn game for us. So i think EA that a solution to ur pirating problems would be to make games that work, and support games with extra content after realese, not stupid DRM. So until then if i am interested in a EA game i guess im just gonna copy it from a friend, or torrent it. Posted at 10:56PM on Oct 8th 2008 by lemiesz
Pirating the game isn't that easy.. apparently EA is watching all torrents, and taking legal action on any downloaders.. I've downloaded hundreds of games without problem, but once i tried Merc 2, i got slapped with a large freakin fine from EA Posted at 12:59PM on Nov 4th 2008 by Voth

F*cking lame. They released a pretty damn broken game and as someone that wasted $50 on this turd, I demand that they do everything in their power to fix and improve it. I can live without extra characters and costumes or whatever but if they are improving the gameplay in any way, I should not be left behind.
