This week Combat Arms was officially launched and another upcoming free-to-play FPS Blackshot announced their plans to open up their game in a beta test. Now yet another game joining this suddenly crowded genre has released some new screenshots of its own. It's Cross Fire, the title that's being developed by Smilegate and will be released in the US and Europe via publisher G4Box
The new screenshots show off the game's Team Deathmatch mode, which will feature two teams of 8 players each attempting to blast each other apart in six maps. Those maps will include settings like "a cursed Egyptian tomb, an abandoned railway station, and a speedway in Monaco." When the full game is available to download later this fall Cross Fire will include 15 maps, four gameplay modes and a way to earn achievements and experience points that will let your player character level up with access to more weapons and items. There's no word yet on a beta test for the game.
