Time for yet another collector's edition of an upcoming game. Fallout 3, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 are just some of the titles that will also have more expensive collector's editions this year and now you can add Call of Duty: World at War to that list. The Activision-Treyarch WWII shooter will have a $69.99 version for the PC with both physical and in-game extra.
The physical stuff is limited to the tin casing for the game itself and a stainless steel water canteen. The meat in this collector's edition is in the special in-game items. This includes an unlocked and high level machine gun (the FG 42), a way to get double experience in multiplayer for one week and a special VIP status clan tag that's visible in multiplayer. Call of Duty: World at War is due out in mid-November.
