Hardware: The Razer's Edge

The Razer Lachesis Gaming Mouse

MSRP: $79.99

The Good: Small, compact and lightweight mouse boasts an amazing 4000dpi of silky smooth and super-precise control. Plenty of buttons to customize with macros. Mouse can be configured for left-handed users.

The Bad: Side buttons are too low and can be hit accidentally when moving or pick up the mouse. Two side buttons on the other side (opposite the thumb) are hard to reach. No dpi indicator.

Verdict: The Lachesis makes a great pick for a gaming mouse as long as you don't mind the annoying side buttons. There are some shortcomings, but one can't overlook the amazing response and precision 4000dpi technology provides. Just be aware that this level of sensitivity takes some getting used to and may be too much for average gamers.
