We had a feeling when Warner Bros. Interactive wouldn't commit to a release date for Project Origin when we saw the game at E3 last month. We just knew we wouldn't see the game released this fall. Now GameSpot has confirmed that the Monolith developed sequel to the 2005 released first person shooter F.E.A.R. will miss 2008.
Instead, the game now is targeting a first quarter 2009 release date. That hopefully means we will be able to upgrade our PCs to run this puppy, F.E.A.R. was fairly nortorious for being a game that gave even high end PCs a run for their money in terms of frame rates. We also expect to be scared out of our wits.
