The other game on sale at Steam this weekend is the indie music rhythm-racing title Audiosurf. For just a few days you can buy and download the acclaimed title for just $4.99, which is a near-perfect price to see what all the fuss is about.

A while back I bought Beyond Good & Evil on disc for my laptop, which has an Intel Core 2 Duo. I found the game to be completely unplayable as the speed of *everything* in the game was revved to an incredible degree. Is anyone having this issue with the Steam downloadable version on similar hardware? I'm wondering if they've made any changes to the game before it was released through Steam.

Awesome deal! Already picked up BG&E and I already have AudioSurft. Now just have to find some time to actually play.Posted at 10:14AM on Aug 23rd 2008 by sicsided
