S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky goes gold; release date delayed slightly
Along with the "gone gold" announcement comes word on a slight delay in the game's release. Originally announced as shipping to stores on August 29, the game's new release date has been pushed back one week. It is now due to ship to stores on September 5. It's one of the few games that will ship with both DirectX9 and DirectX10 graphics so we expect that it will be used as a benchmark for some PC rigs.

How can this game go gold already .Its been recalled for every store in the u.s and no clear date on release...LOL!!! the first stalker was ok but they still havent release the freeplay patch for it so I dont believe anything that GSC say's Posted at 2:53AM on Sep 6th 2008 by dave
It was recalled because the booklet in every game did not have a CD key printed on them, they were blank. So they had to delay because of that. I actually picked one up from wal-mart a few days ago, they had forgotten to take them off the shelves and my game didn't have a CD key but the game installs and plays great. You just need the key for multi-play.Posted at 8:44PM on Sep 6th 2008 by naz
