"Fatal1ty" joins new gaming web site; to appear at E for All 2008
Comedian and big time movie star Will Ferrell helped to launch the Funny or Die comedy web site and it quickly became a huge hit on the Internet tubes. As usual with such a success the "Or Die Network" began to expand to other sites as well. Today it was announced that a new gaming web site on the "Or Die Network" has launched to cover the gaming industry, PwnorDie.com and that pro gamer Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel has been signed to work on the site.
According to the press release "Fatal1ty" will contribute"input, commentary and exclusive videos" for the site. It's the latest such deal for the pro gamer who has previously signed on as an endorser for a number of game oriented products.and is a global spokesperson and on-air commentator for the Championship Gaming Series tournaments.
In other news the organizers of E For All Expo 2008 have announced that Fatal1ty will appear at the three day consumer gaming event on Oct 3-5 at the LA Convention Center. He will meet with fans, sign autographs and participate in head-to-head multiplayer matches at the show, much like he did for the first installment of the expo last year.
Update: Looks like the Penny Arcade folks are having a bit of fun with the Fatal1ty/E For All announcement

I like the PAX announcement a whole lot better. Not only because I think that pro-gaming is silly and pointless but holy shit I just want to punch that guy in the face. Good lord, look at his smug mug, it cries out to be punched even more than Cliff Blazinsky (I don't care enough to look up the correct spelling of his last name). The PC Gamer podcast did an interview with Johnathan and frick is he a stuck up prick-wad. If it were possible for me to be less interested in E for All, I now would be.
