The speculation can finally end for players waiting to play the long awaited fantasy MMO Warhammer Online. The game's publisher Electronic Arts has now confirmed via a press release that the Mythic Entertainment developed title will officially launch in about six week on Sept. 18.
Along with the launch date comes the game's prices for monthly play beyond buying the game in stores. Per month the game will cost $14.99 with a 3-month subscription costing $41.97 and a 6-month subscription costing $77.94. EA plans to have 30 day and 60 day pre-paid cards for the game in retail stores as well. You can still pre-order the game which gets you into the open beta along with being able to play the final game a few days before its official launch. Pre-orders also get some unique in-game items and the Universal Fighting System Battle Deck collectible card game.

Cool. That is soon. Hopefully it will deliver for MMO and WarHammer fans alike. (sorry, I'm neither. ;-) )
Also, kinda silly to see people ragging on the game claiming that they stole the art style from WoW when frankly WoW stole it from WarHammer in the first place.
