As we hinted earlier this week, it appears that people who want to make e-cards and more based on their creatures can now do so via a newly launched section of the MashOn web site. Run by Planetwide Media, the web site will allow people to combine Spore"Spore backgrounds, clip art and word bubbles using unique digital assets." The web site supports both the stand alone Spore Creature Creator and the upcoming full Spore game.

This is just the latest extension of the Spore brand that publisher Electronic Arts has announced. It previously revealed a deal with AT&T to offer the Spore Creature Creator for free for all AT&T high-speed Internet users. The full version of Spore is still scheduled to ship to stores on September 7.
