Comic-Con fans get first hands-on with DC Universe Online
Even though there were thousands of gaming journalists attending E3 last week, Sony Online chose not to show a playable version of their long awaited super hero MMO DC Universe Online. They decided to wait until this week to give people a chance to play a build of the game at the San Diego Comic-Con.
IGN has posted up their own hands-on impressions of DC Universe Online and even thought it was a pre-alpha build they seemed impressed with the title. The Comic-Con build didn't allow for character creation (you can play as either a hero or villain) but they did play the game with some pre-created characters. The build had a crisis situation in Metropolis that had you help out Superman himself. The game still doesn't have a release date.
