E3 08: Capcom announces Flock
Looks like Capcom continues to release games for the PC in downloadable formats. The publisher has officially announced Flock, a new downloadable game for the PC and other platforms. The game is the first effort from the new Scotland based Proper Games which was formed by people who worked on games like Lemmings, Crackdown and others.
In fact the game sounds a lot like Lemmings. Its premise is that you are in charge of a space ship that has to herd various farm animal inside the ship. These animals must be guided through a series of puzzles in order to reach their destination. The game uses physics to let the player do things like use a tractor beam to move obstacles out of the animals' path. There will also be co-op play and a level editor for those who want to make their own puzzles. The game is due for release this holiday.
