We knew that Crysis Warhead, the upcoming stand alone continuation of Crytek's sci-fi shooter series, would have some kind of multiplayer features. Now it appears like the plans may be a tad more ambitious than we may have previously thought. A pre-order listing for the game at Electronic Arts has posted up word on what they are calling Crysis Wars.

According to the bullet point on the site, Crysis Wars will be included with Crysis Warhead and will be "an expanded new multiplayer experience with new online modes and 21 maps including seven all-new maps to battle it out against other players." That would suggest that all of the multiplayer maps and modes of the origina Crysis game will be included as well as additions. Again we should learn more about these plans at E3 next week.
