Bethesda Softworks' work on the upcoming post-apocalyse RPG Fallout 3 has generated tons of comments (good and, well, fanatic) from fans of the first two Fallout titles from Interplay. Now the official Fallout 3 message board forums have posted up an extensive Q&A with highly specialized questions from those very fans.

Bethesda producer Todd Howard tackles the questions which range from whether there will be an SDK for PC owners (not on the disk but maybe as a free download) to whether or not you can kill children in the game (you can't) to whether all of the mutants in the game are hostile (most are but some can be reasoned with and even hired). There's some new screeshots from the game in the Q&A which we have reproduced here.
