E3 2008 is getting closer and closer; we are now less than a month and a half away from the annual gathering of publishers and journalists in Los Angeles to check out the latest and greatest games in the pipeline. Even though two major publishers, Activision and Vivendi Games, decided to pull out of E3 2008 this year (they and Gamecock are planning their own separate events in LA during E3's timeframe) the event will still be a huge spotlight on the future of the game industry.

IGN is reporting that one of our most anticipated PC game of 2008 will be shown at E3 in July. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, the prequel to GSC Gameworld's post-apocalypse first person shooter, will be shown at the game's publisher Deep Silver's meeting room in the LA Convention Center. European based Deep Silver recently announced the launch of their US offices and you can bet that getting the media to check out S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky during the show will go a long way to help promote both the game and the publisher's entry into the US market. You can expect a ton of E3 coverage from Big Download both before and during the event next month. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is expected to be released in late August.
