It's no secret that one of our most highly anticipated games of 2008 is Fallout 3. Bethesda Softworks' revamp of the original Interplay post-apocalypse RPG series. Today some new screenshots of the game popped up on the Internet showing off more of the game that's due in stores this fall.

The shots show off one of the environments in the title, which takes placed in the Washington DC area along with some bloody combat shooting action. There's also a shot of the game's "Pip Boy" portable computer user interface. That image shows that Bethesda Softworks will likely continue the Fallout franchise's satirical tone. We will likely learn more about the game next month at E3.
