THQ developer Kaos Studios released their first title, the near-future first person shooter, Frontlines: Fuel of War, last February. While the developer has released a number of patches to the game since then, Kaos is in the middle of preparing their first major update (1.1.0) that will add new features such as Punkbuster anti-cheating support, a new version of the game's server browser and more.

While they are working on getting this patch up and running, they are also working on future patches that will add new multiplayer maps to the game. In a recent update on the Kaos Studios web site they revealed their plans for five new maps and at least one will be included in the next patch (1.2.0). Two of the maps will also add new weapons and vehicles. The Boneyard map will add the Automatic Shotgun along with the Rocket Jeep and the Red Star Transport Helicopter. The Hindsight map will add an anti-air stinger rocket launcher along with the AB11 Tank Buster and the RS Kobra aircraft. The 1.1.0 patch should be released soon but there's no word on when the 1.2.0 patch will be released.
