Beyond Good & Evil 2 has casual appeal

While the original Beyond Good & Evil was made with the hardcore crowd in mind, Ubisoft president Yves Guillemot believes that BG&E 2 will be more accessible to casual gamers. Guillemot said that in the era of the original BG&E, the game's audience was quite different. Now, though, the casual market is much more dominant.

"We're going to make [Beyond Good & Evil 2] more accessible and make sure that it's really done for the new generation that's come into video games," Guillemot told Next-Gen.

All well and good, Ubisoft -- so long as BG&E 2 isn't a rhythm or party game, I'll be buying it for sure.
