Apparently looking to release more video-game-to-film adaptations than Uwe Boll, Capcom has plans to work with various Hollywood studios to convert a number of its properties into motion pictures.
Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto told Bloomberg that the renowned developer is "in the process of working out contracts for several offers we received at the Cannes Film Festival last week and hope to make an announcement soon." Tsujimoto claimed that if the proposed projects become a reality, they "will have a big impact on the game and movie industries."
The first of Capcom's many upcoming fims, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is already in production and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2009.
