Everyday Shooter blasts onto Steam

When Everyday Shooter launched on the PS3 late last year, it was a critical darling. Its innovative synesthetic gameplay combined shooting with some truly spectacular guitar riffs. The game is the loving creation of Jon Mak, who produced everything from the art, to the music, to the gameplay.

The gameplay's interaction with music is superbly handled -- each bullet, enemy and explosion will add to the musical complexity of each stage. However, it's the gameplay that makes Everyday Shooter a truly mesmerizing experience. Each level, which features its own musical and visual style, also plays differently. Players will have to experiment and discover the various secrets of each stage in order to get the highest score possible.

Everyday Shooter is now available on Steam for a discounted price of $8.99 (regularly $9.99). It comes highly recommended. However, note that this is an exact replica of the PS3 game, right down to the credits. Those that played the PSN game won't find much new about this PC re-release.
