Ubisoft has been moving more to being a console-driving game publisher in the past few years but it looks like the company is sticking with developing PC games as well. Today Ubisoft announced that it has launched a new internal game development studio in Kiev, Ukraine that will focus specifically on PC titles.
The new studio has a core team of 12 members and recently worked on the PC port of the flying action game Blazing Angels II. Ubisoft plans to grow the new Kiev studio to have 50 members in the next year as they will be working on the PC port of another flying action game, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. in collaboration with the game's main developer Ubisoft Bucharest. This new studio is the company's fifth to launch in the past few months.
